On the night of February 24th, 2022, Artevelde University of Applied Sciences in Belgium invited our students to participate in an online activity called "International Student Conversation". Twenty-three students, including Li Yemin, Yang Jinyu and Feng Hailian, majoring in Business Administration in grade-21, and Dai Jun, Gao Jiamei and Hao Xinmeng, majoring in Finance of grade-21, participated in the activity. They had a lively online exchange with international students from all over the world, which fully demonstrated the good spiritual outlook and cultural confidence of the students of BNUBS. The students have not only broadened their international vision, improved their language communication skills, but also gained valuable international friendship.
Gao Jiamei, a student majoring in Finance in who is enrolled in 2021, participated in the event and said, "The event doesn’t last long, but I have gained a lot. On the one hand, we have learned about the study and life of foreign college students, which has broadened our horizon. On the other hand, we also introduce our daily study life to foreign students, promote Chinese culture and invitethem to visit China. And after the meeting, we exchang contact information and establish transnational friendship, which is also very valuable."
Dai Jun, a student in Finance of Grade-21, said,“ We are connected by the Internet. The foreign students are passionate and friendly. They happily share with us their life in fluent English. When looking at them, I have this fantastic feeling that We may be of different races and nationalities, but our hearts are bright and beautiful. We earnestly look forward to an inclusive and harmonious community with a shared future for mankind!”
Artevelde University of Applied Sciences is a member of AU GENT and one of the oldest universities in Vlaanderen. It is also a friendly cooperative institution of our School, and the two sides maintain friendly exchanges in teacher-student exchanges.
